Series background & context

Sons of Sanctuary MC is Danann’s contemporary motorcycle-club romance series, set around Austin, Texas. The club members may look rough from the outside, but the books are built around loyalty, protection, chosen family, and men trying to live by a code that means something.

The opening story, Two Princes, starts with two brothers who do not know each other but are moving toward the same hard truths. Their lives bring together old losses, broken hearts, and the kind of family secret that can change every relationship around it.

From there, the series follows different club members and people pulled into their orbit. The romances vary, but the club remains a constant. It provides work, friendship, backup in a crisis, and a home for people who have not always had one.

Life on two wheels is not simple.

The stories include rival clubs, criminal threats, undercover work, missing people, and the consequences of past choices. Yet the emotional core stays with the relationships: brothers learning how to be family, partners deciding whether they can trust again, and club members who show up when things get bad.

Books such as The Biker’s Brother, Nomad, Devil’s Marker, and Roadhouse deepen the Austin setting while giving different characters their own romances and conflicts. The Cajun Devils MC books connect to this series through allied clubs and shared characters.

Start with Two Princes. Reading in order makes the relationships, club history, and recurring cast much more rewarding.
