Series background & context

New Scotia Pack follows werewolves whose old way of life in the Scottish Highlands can no longer hold. For centuries, the Scotia wolves have lived under the protection of the Fae monarchy, but a growing population forces them to face a hard choice: adapt, leave, or slowly disappear.

In Liulf: Alpha of the Mahdrah Ahlee / Shield Wolf, Liulf becomes a reluctant alpha at exactly the wrong time. Leadership means guiding an entire community through an exodus, not just protecting a small group. The move turns into an epic journey shaped by danger, unfamiliar territory, and the weight of leaving home behind.

The series keeps the stakes personal. Pack members carry old grief, new romantic bonds, and very different ideas about what a safe future should look like. Their choices affect partners, children, allies, and the pack’s chances of staying together.

Home is more than a place here.

Later books, including Wolf Lover: Konochur and Fire Wolf: Cinaed, expand the world through wars, shifting alliances, and romances complicated by loss and duty. The stories connect to Danann’s wider supernatural setting, though they give the wolves their own strong identity and history.

Expect Highland atmosphere, supernatural politics, pack loyalty, action, and romances built around characters who have a lot to lose. Start with Liulf: Alpha of the Mahdrah Ahlee / Shield Wolf to follow the migration from its beginning and understand why the New Scotia Pack matters so much to its members.
