Hell's Vengeance Books in Order

Hell's Vengeance is built like a chase. Shane Ryan is trying to clear his name, save Detective Jacinta Perez, and keep up with a threat that mixes human cruelty with supernatural fallout. That urgency drives the whole series. There is less room for slow setup and more pressure to move, react, and hit back.

Shane does not get much breathing room.

The books pull him through roads, city blocks, and haunted corners where the dead keep reminding everyone that old wrongs never stay quiet for long. A kidnapper, missing time, and the cry for justice from lost souls all push the story forward. The human crime plot gives the trilogy a tighter thriller shape, while the ghosts make sure nothing stays ordinary for long.

One of the strengths here is that Shane has to work under pressure from both sides. Living enemies want him stopped. The dead want answers, vengeance, or release. And he still has to figure out where Jacinta is before the trail goes cold.

So this series works well if you like the more hard-driving side of Ripley's Shane Ryan material. It is still horror, but it also has the bones of a man-on-the-run story, with enough haunting layered in to keep every apparent lead feeling dangerous.

Short version, Hell's Vengeance is Shane in pursuit mode, battered, furious, and trying to get one person back before the body count gets even worse.
