Series background & context

The Atrous series follows the people around a hugely visible boy band, where fame creates pressure that does not disappear when the show ends. The books are connected and are best read in order, beginning with Code Red.

In the first story, manager Roscoe Hall has spent years protecting Atrous vocalist Maddox Kershaw from the demands of the music business. Their professional relationship becomes harder to hold at a distance when Maddox is exhausted, isolated, and struggling under constant public attention.

Code Blue shifts focus to head of security Steve Frost and band member Jeremy. Steve knows the routines, risks, and boundaries of life on tour. When Jeremy becomes the target of a stalker and the stress begins to take a physical toll, the line between protection and a deeper relationship grows harder to ignore.

These are high-pressure contemporary romances with concerts, travel, security concerns, and the loneliness that can sit behind celebrity. The emotional center is not the band itself, but the men who know how much work it takes to keep moving when everyone is watching.
