When Then Becomes Now Books in Order

When Then Becomes Now is Roger Maxim's widest-angle series. When Danger Is Defeated follows the changing course of the air war and the pressure it puts on both pilots, while When Life Resumes turns toward survival, recovery, and the hard work of living on after enormous violence. By that point, one pilot is American and the other German, and both carry the weight of everything that came before.

It is part military saga, part history lesson about how nations back themselves into disaster.
