The Pleasure Books in Order

The Pleasure series is Angie Daniels writing high-heat contemporary romance with a simple but effective idea running through it: people who say they only want sex are often the first ones caught off guard when feelings start getting involved. These books are connected by Sheraton Beach, a shared sensual tone, and heroines who think they know the rules going in.

Time For Pleasure sets the pattern. Kaelyn Chambers wants a future that is hot, fun, and free of strings, and then Ashton Kilmer walks into the picture and makes no-commitment plans look much less tidy. By the time you reach Wicked Pleasure, the series theme is clear. The setting helps. Sheraton Beach gives the series a relaxed, sunlit, grown-up atmosphere that works nicely against the intensity of the romances. These are not fantasy-world billionaires in isolated mansions. They are people with jobs, routines, history, and enough connection to the same social world that the books feel linked.

Heat is definitely part of the draw here, but the series is not only about sex scenes. It is about the moment when control starts slipping. The heroines often begin from a place of confidence. They know what they want, or at least what they think they can handle. Then Daniels starts asking harder questions about intimacy, trust, and whether pleasure without risk is ever really possible.
