Decadent Delight Books in Order

The Decadent Delight books are steamy contemporary romances with a playful, sometimes holiday-tinged feel, but underneath the heat they are often about class assumptions, family pressure, and the gap between the partner a character thinks they should want and the one who actually fits.

The series begins with A Delight Before Christmas, where Berlin Dupree mistakes Reginald Hodges for a doctor and kicks off a romance that is hot, funny, and more emotionally loaded than she expects. Berlin has very fixed ideas about what security and success should look like. Reggie does not fit the polished fantasy she has built in her head, and that mismatch drives a lot of the tension.

That same couple returns in Naughty Before Christmas, which gives the series a little extra continuity. Instead of stopping at the first happily-ever-after, Daniels checks back in to see what happens when real life, suspicion, and marriage put pressure on a relationship that once felt easy.

The later books, Say My Name and Put Your Name on It, shift the focus to other women dealing with attraction that does not line up neatly with their rules. Christina Holloway is pushed to rethink her checklist for a partner. Claudia Winters has to decide whether love is worth the mess attached to the man she wants. In both books, the tension comes from characters trying to protect themselves by controlling the terms of love.

So while this is a connected series, it is connected more by tone, theme, and overlapping social circles than by one giant ongoing plot. The books are sexy, conversational, and built around women who are learning that being desired is not the same as being known, and being safe is not the same as being happy.

If you like romance that feels a little glossy on the surface but still makes room for insecurity, stubbornness, and emotional growth, Decadent Delight does that well. Starting with A Delight Before Christmas is the best move, especially if you want the full Berlin and Reggie arc before the series branches out.
