The Langley sisters are connected, but each book gives one couple the spotlight. Expect bold heroines, protective heroes, hidden work, old wounds, and plenty of family loyalty. There is also a playful sense of scandal, because the sisters’ night-time activities and daytime manners are always on a collision course.

This is a good series for readers who like Regency romance where the women are active, resourceful, and not waiting politely to be rescued. Start at the beginning if you can, since the sisters’ shared situation and family bond are strongest when you see how it all begins.
