Series background & context

The Celestia Divisa series, published under Kellie McAllen's Rachel Taylor name, takes place in a world where half-human, half-angel people live alongside ordinary humans without being widely known. They are called Celestia Divisa, and their gifts shape the way they see their responsibilities to others. Romance is part of each story, but so are family ties, questions of identity, and the idea that help can arrive from an unexpected place.

The series starts with First Date with Destiny. Zeph is a rare double Divisa, born to two Celestia Divisa parents, but he appears to have no supernatural gift at all. For years, that has made him feel like a disappointment. Meeting Eve changes the picture. Zeph suspects she has a connection to his hidden world, and their relationship pushes both of them toward answers their community has missed.

The books share a world rather than following only one couple.

In Loving Kindness, a prank and a community-service assignment bring Charisse and Jake into each other's orbit. Double Blessing follows twin brothers Maddock and Cheydan as they each try to help a young woman facing a crisis. Healing Hands centers on Rafael, a doctor with angelic heritage, and Cece, a woman whose blindness does not define the way she moves through the world.

That structure makes the series feel connected but approachable. Readers meet familiar faces again, see the same community from different angles, and learn a little more about how Celestia Divisa gifts work. Each romance has its own emotional question, whether that is being seen clearly, trusting another person, finding family, or allowing someone to help.

The tone is gentle paranormal romance. There is mystery and supernatural lore, but the books focus on relationships and personal choices more than large-scale battles. The angel element gives the series its framework, while the characters deal with recognizable worries about school, work, family, illness, money, and self-worth.

For the fullest experience, begin with First Date with Destiny and continue in publication order. The individual stories can stand on their own more easily than a single continuing saga, but reading straight through lets the friendships and community connections land with more weight. It is a good fit for readers looking for warm paranormal romance with angels at the center and hopeful endings in view.
