The Beast Arises Books in Order

The Beast Arises is a Warhammer 40,000 series set about fifteen hundred years after the Horus Heresy. The Imperium has enjoyed a long period of relative calm, and its leaders have become used to treating the Space Marines as distant tools rather than forces needed every day.

By The Beast Must Die, the series has become even more complicated. The Imperium has been damaged by war, internal conflict, and the discovery that its enemy cannot be dismissed as another ordinary greenskin invasion. Thorpe's novel brings major figures and multiple military threads into a conflict where the question is no longer whether the Imperium has a problem, but whether it can recover fast enough to solve it.
