Star Trek: Seekers Books in Order

Seekers spins out of Vanguard, but it has a cleaner mission statement. Instead of centering one secretive starbase, it follows the starships Sagittarius and Endeavour as they head back into the Taurus Reach to do what Star Trek says on the tin: explore strange places, meet unsettling new life, and deal with the fallout when exploration goes wrong.

The two-ship structure helps a lot. One crew can take the scientific angle while the other brings heavier command, diplomatic, or tactical weight. That keeps the books moving without making them feel like simple action stories.

It is classic exploration with scars from earlier adventures.

Because these novels come after Vanguard, the region already has history. Rival powers are watching. Local mysteries are rarely harmless. Even apparently isolated crises tend to connect back to bigger political or scientific problems. David Mack's books in this line especially like high-concept science going off the rails.
