Slaves to Darkness is a Warhammer fantasy trilogy about Chaos corruption and the damage it does to people who once believed they knew who they were. The series follows Kurt Leitzig, a knight of the Empire, and Ursula, the woman he loves, as a conflict with the Dark Gods forces them onto opposing paths.

In The Blades of Chaos, Kurt has become a chosen warrior of the gods and leads a war party to Araby. The expedition finds a deserted city, ancient tombs, and more than enough temptation for people already driven by greed and ambition. The setting widens beyond the Empire while keeping the focus on Kurt's increasingly dangerous place within the forces of Chaos.

The Heart of Chaos brings the trilogy toward its final confrontation. Kurt's transformation threatens the Old World on a much larger scale, while Ursula must take enormous risks to stop someone she once knew better than almost anyone. The stakes are high, but the core conflict remains personal: can love, memory, or duty survive when corruption has changed the person at the center of them?
