The Good, The Bad, The Cursed starts the main sequence with the kind of setup Walden does well, attraction arrives alongside menace, and the central relationship is tangled up with a threat that is much bigger than either person expected. By Hour of the Dragon, the scale has widened. Annaleia Faith is pulled into a conflict that suggests the monster world is older, stranger, and far more layered than it first appeared, with dragon fire and buried power raising the stakes.

What links the books is less a single hero's quest and more a tone. These are paranormal romances for readers who like their fantasy sharp around the edges. The monsters here are seductive, yes, but they are also genuinely dangerous. Desire can save people, ruin them, or wake the wrong thing entirely.

Expect a modern setting invaded by mythic trouble, emotionally intense pairings, and a steadily expanding sense of supernatural history. The series plays with cursed identities, awakening powers, and the idea that love does not make the darkness disappear, it just gives people a reason to walk into it.
