In A Wicked Hunger, A Wicked Night, and A Wicked Desire, she shifts into a darker future where vampires live openly among humans and Coraline Conwell gets pulled into a dangerous supernatural fight she never asked for. Keeping His Siren and The Vampire's Masquerade stay in vampire territory, but with more nightclub glamour and clan politics. Later, Tempting The Dragon King pushed further into dragon shifters, royal intrigue, and star-crossed attraction.

These days, Fay still seems happiest building new story worlds, researching future projects, and staying close to the visual side of her books. She has written about loving action, conflict, and the idea of true love, and that combination is a pretty solid map of what she does. Pick up one of her series and you can see it right away. People fall hard, danger closes in, and nobody gets an easy ride.
