Series background & context

Guardian Protection is a connected romantic suspense series about bodyguards, the people they are hired to protect, and the danger that brings them close. The books share a world and supporting characters, but each one focuses on a different couple. That makes them approachable as interconnected standalones, though reading in order adds more context for the agency and its people.

The series begins with Singe, featuring Jude and Rhion. Jude is haunted by a woman he once failed to save from a fire. Years later, he is carrying enough guilt and darkness to make connection feel dangerous. Rhion is a dreamer who sees past the hard shell he has built. Their relationship develops while danger closes in again and Jude has to decide whether he can trust himself to protect someone without losing her.

Protection is never just a job here.

Thrive follows Lark and Mira in a second-chance story. When Mira was nineteen, she chose safety over the young soldier she loved. Seventeen years later, that choice has left deep scars. Her abusive ex-husband threatens her from prison, and she turns to the man she once walked away from, who now works for Guardian Protection. The book balances immediate danger with the old hurt between two people who never stopped caring.

Falter continues the series with Devon Grant and actress Lofton Beck. After a stalker kills her longtime bodyguard, Lofton needs Guardian Protection to keep her safe. Devon is an experienced protector with a reason to keep his distance from celebrity clients, but he is assigned to her anyway. Their forced proximity turns more complicated as the threat follows them and both begin to reveal the parts of themselves hidden behind public roles.

Expect protective heroes, capable heroines, and suspense that keeps the romance under pressure.

The Guardian team provides continuity across the books. Their work brings practical concerns, security planning, threats, and past cases into the foreground, but the emotional story remains personal. Each couple has to deal with more than an outside villain. They are also facing guilt, fear, old choices, or the risk of needing another person.

For the fullest experience, read Singe โ†’ Thrive โ†’ Falter. Readers can start with any individual couple, but the order lets the agency grow from book to book and makes returning characters feel like a real support system.
