Coldest Fire moves toward revenge and infiltration, as Archangel Uriel and the demon witch Nadya fight their way through the underworld in pursuit of a demon prince. Each book stands on its own romantically, but together they deepen the sense of a world where every victory costs something.

What makes Dominion work is that Cross never forgets the romance even when the setting turns brutal. The books are full of battles, poison, underground strongholds, and creatures that belong in nightmares, but the emotional arc stays clear. These are stories about damaged people finding loyalty in the middle of chaos. If you like your paranormal romance grim, fast-moving, and morally messy, Dominion is a strong place to land.
