Treasure Harbor Books in Order

Treasure Harbor is Belle Calhoune having fun with a bigger hook. That treasure hunt gives the whole series its energy. Each book follows a different couple, but the town-wide obsession keeps them linked. Some Kind of Wonderful brings journalist Lara Callahan back home to cover the frenzy, only to reunite her with Ryan Burton, her childhood friend and the descendant of the pirate at the center of the legend. His Precious Jewel pairs jeweler Jade Sims with archeologist Roman Sant'Angelo as the search narrows around a famous lost piece called the Star of Imara.

The treasure is both plot and metaphor.

People are hunting for coins and jewels, but they are also dealing with old family feuds, damaged trust, childhood baggage, and the question of what is really worth chasing. Calhoune uses the Outer Banks setting well, with beaches, storms, local businesses, and just enough old lore to keep the stories moving.

If you want something a little more adventurous than a straight small-town romance, Treasure Harbor is a good pick. The books still deliver heart and hope, but they also get extra momentum from secrets, rivalry, and the promise that the next clue might change everything.
