The Timeless Love books are time-travel romances with a wink. Each story takes a modern woman, drops her into a famous past or legend, and lets her panic, improvise, flirt, and accidentally interfere with history. The mood is light on purpose. In Mojitos with Merry Men, Chrissie Hayward gets swept into Robin Hood territory and learns that even legendary outlaws sometimes need a push before they start acting like heroes.

Then the series heads to 1929.

Flirtinis with Flappers shifts from mythic England to Prohibition-era Chicago, where Dora Duncan gets caught up in mob history and an old heartbreak at the same time. That change of setting tells you a lot about the series as a whole. These books are linked more by tone and premise than by one shared cast. What carries across is the mix of fish-out-of-water comedy, romance, and the constant worry that one wrong choice could change the timeline.

If you want a very serious historical, this probably is not the lane. If you want a breezy romance that uses Camelot, Robin Hood, and old Chicago as playgrounds for smart, talky heroines, it is a good one. The books are especially fun for readers who enjoy contemporary voices, strong attraction, and heroines who solve problems with nerve more than elegance.
