The Immortal Tailor Books in Order

This series starts from a great Pamfiloff premise: what if the dangerous immortal warrior retired, opened a tailor shop, and still could not escape supernatural nonsense? Damien Greystone has traded weapons for hems and alterations, mostly because he is cursed and everyone he loves dies. He wants quiet. Naturally, that does not last.

In The Immortal Tailor, a goddess blackmails him into hunting a rabid fairy, and the job brings him straight to Sky, a woman in real trouble. That is enough to set the tone for the series. Damien is brooding, armed, and trying very hard not to care. The world around him refuses to cooperate.

The mood is darker than the title sounds.

There is humor, including a demonic chihuahua and Damien's deadpan resistance to events, but the real pull is the tension between his curse and his capacity for attachment. If you like paranormal romance with monster hunting, reluctant heroics, and a hero whose quiet life is clearly doomed from page one, this series delivers that mix.
