Series background & context
If the Accidentally Yours books are chaotic paranormal romance, this series is chaos with a business model. The premise is that Cimil, one of Mimi Jean Pamfiloff's most unruly goddesses, decides the immortal world needs help finding mates and launches Immortal Matchmakers, Inc. That means gods, demigods, warriors, and assorted supernatural disasters all get shoved toward love whether they are ready or not.
Each book follows a different couple. Immortal Matchmakers, Inc. starts with the assassin Andrus Gray and the woman hired to teach him basic charm. After that, the series bounces through damaged immortals with highly specific problems, a wine god going off the rails, a forgetfulness goddess who wants to be remembered, a bee goddess in love with the worst possible man for her powers, and more.
The books are funny on purpose.
But there is also an ongoing backdrop of supernatural instability, especially a plague that makes finding a mate more urgent than anyone would like. That gives the series just enough larger arc to make the connections matter. Read these if you want romantic comedy energy, mythic weirdness, and a cast of immortals who are powerful enough to destroy cities but still hopeless at dating.
