Series background & context

The English Brothers is the opening branch of Katy Regnery's larger Blueberry Lane world. Set largely in Philadelphia, the books follow the wealthy English family as each sibling faces a very personal version of falling in love.

The brothers may look polished from the outside, but the stories lean into insecurity, old wounds, inconvenient timing, and the mess that comes with wanting someone who does not fit a careful plan. Barrett, Fitz, Alex, Stratton, and Weston each get a romance, while Kiss Me Kate shifts attention to their sister, Kate.

Breaking Up with Barrett starts the main sequence with Barrett English and Emily Edwards. Later books include a second-chance romance in Falling for Fitz, a former playboy trying to change in Anyone but Alex, and socially awkward Stratton learning how to take a risk in Seduced by Stratton.

Marrying Mr. English tells the story of the English parents and is best read after the sibling books if you want its emotional context to land fully.

The series leads into the Winslow, Rousseau, and Story family books, so it is the natural gateway to Blueberry Lane. Familiar characters keep turning up, marriages and friendships matter, and the world grows as the couples do.

Expect polished Philadelphia settings, close family connections, humor, heat, and romances that make room for real vulnerability.
