Series background & context

The Stewarts of Skagway is a six-book contemporary romance series set in a small Alaskan town at the edge of the wilderness. Tanner, Harper, Hunter, Sawyer, Parker, and Reeve Stewart are siblings, and each book gives one of them a chance to find love.

Skagway brings its own personality to the series. It is a historic place shaped by tourism, adventure, long summers, harsh weather, and the kind of community where people tend to know one another's history. That makes it hard to hide a past, a crush, or a bad decision for long.

Tanner begins the series, followed by Harper, Hunter, Sawyer, Parker, and Reeve. The books are designed around separate couples, but the Stewart family remains the common thread, with sibling loyalty, teasing, and shared hometown ties running through the stories.

The romances use familiar contemporary setups, including old attractions, enemies who may not be as indifferent as they claim, and relationships tested by the practical realities of work and life in Alaska. In Parker, for example, Parker Stewart's rivalry with her brother's best friend Quinn Morgan follows them from Skagway to Las Vegas and back.

Read in order to watch the whole family change around each new couple. Each novel should still offer a satisfying romance on its own.

Expect lively sibling dynamics, scenic Alaska, close community ties, and love stories where coming home can mean taking a real emotional risk.
