Each book drops a different couple into that storm. Chasing I Do starts with a runaway bride who still believes in happily ever after. Definitely (Maybe) Dating plays with class differences, instant friction, and the wedding world. Summer Affair brings in a cupcake baker and an injured NFL star trying to heal in private, while Single Girl in the City leans into fresh starts, neighbor tension, and a fake-date problem that gets very real. Characters are forever helping, meddling, showing up uninvited, or pretending they are not invested when they clearly are. If you like romances where the siblings keep stealing scenes and the side characters feel like they have entire lives off the page, this series delivers that.

The tone stays light on its feet, even when the characters are hurting. Adair gives her heroines real baggage, divorce, grief, money stress, bad timing, trust issues, and then sets them opposite men who may look confident in public but are less steady in private. The chemistry comes fast, but the books also spend time on responsibility, family expectations, and the fear of choosing wrong a second time.

What links the series most is that sense of risk. The Eastons move quickly in business and in life, but love is the thing that keeps catching them off guard. If you want witty banter, strong family energy, and romances that feel busy, social, and a little gloriously overbooked, this is one of Adair's most easy-to-binge worlds.
