The Aftermyth opens a different door in Tracy Wolff's catalog, a middle grade fantasy with a dark-academia flavor and a world shaped by Greek mythology. Instead of dropping myth into the modern day, the series starts from the idea that myth is the structure of everyday life. The first book follows Penelope Weaver, who arrives at Anaximander's Academy certain she knows who she is and where she belongs. She expects Athena. She expects order.
