Rogues is one of Tracie Delaney's biggest shared worlds, and it gives you a little of everything she does well: billionaire heroes, long-buried feelings, complicated family ties, protective instincts, and a steadily growing thread of danger running under the romance.

The series begins in emotional territory. Entranced is built on a past love that never really died, with Athena and Ryker dragged back toward each other years after a brutal split. That feeling of history matters, because it sets the tone for a series where very few people enter love with clean hands or uncomplicated hearts.

Things get messy from there.

Enraptured softens the mood with a single dad and forced proximity setup, but even there the past comes knocking. Entrapped turns sharper and more combative, with a ruthless billionaire pushing too hard against a woman who refuses to sell him what he wants. Enchanted slows into a more caretaking, almost healing rhythm, pairing a reclusive man with a woman whose own guilt makes the job feel personal. Enthralled and Enticed bring revenge, forbidden desire, and brother-related trouble into the mix, while Engulfed acts almost like a pressure-cooker reunion, pulling the wider cast together for a Christmas retreat that becomes a crisis.

That last point is important. While each romance can stand on its own, Rogues rewards readers who stick with the whole series. The books build a network of family, friends, and old wounds. By the time later conflicts hit, they matter more because you know the people standing in the blast radius.

The tone is not cozy. Even when a book starts with workplace banter or a romantic setup you recognize, Delaney likes raising the outside stakes. Kidnappings, revenge plans, old betrayals, and personal obsessions all show up. The series stays firmly romance-first, but it is never far from suspense.

It also helps that the characters feel varied. Not every hero is the same flavor of billionaire, and not every heroine reacts to danger or desire in the same way. Some books feel more tender, some more explosive, some more bruised. That variety keeps a long series from becoming too predictable.

If you want a Delaney series with a strong group dynamic, standalone love stories, and a gradually thickening layer of suspense around the edges, Rogues is a very good bet. It is rich, dramatic, and often a little darker than it first appears.
