Riven Chronicles is a young adult science fiction duology with parallel worlds, war fallout, and a heroine who has been shaped more by battle than by ordinary teenage life. In The Fallen Prince, the fragile peace that seemed possible after the first book does not hold. Riven's hunt for her father, and the growing threat to Neospes, pull her back into conflict with even more at stake. The second book keeps the series focused on loyalty and consequence while expanding the pressure on the wider world.
