Sal and her friends have to think fast, improvise weapons, and decide who they can actually trust while something—or someone—stalks them from the trees.

Book two shifts the focus to a successful band riding high after a big gig. One disastrous night later, they find themselves stranded on an island, cut off from help. The place feels wrong from the start. As they explore, it becomes clear they are being watched, herded, and picked off. Old tensions inside the group flare up just as external threats close in, and the story leans hard into how friendship, ego, and fear collide under pressure.

In the third book, a hardworking woman trying to keep her two children afloat discovers that the past she thought she had escaped has followed her. Mysterious, almost spirit‑like hunters appear, and what begins as a bad night spirals into a desperate flight through a world where the rules have changed. She is forced to work with a man she despises, gambling on fragile alliances when there is no safe option left.

Across the trilogy, the tone is fast, tense, and often brutal, but there are moments of warmth and dark humour. Relentless is less about saving the world and more about surviving a single, awful night.
