The Night Hunter series is Robert Holdstock's run of supernatural horror novels, published under the name Robert Faulcon. It follows Dan Brady, an ordinary family man whose life is shattered when his wife and children are taken by forces tied to the occult. His search for them becomes the thread running through all six books.

Dan does not begin as a detective, magician, or chosen hero. He begins as a man who has lost everything and cannot accept that loss. These are leaner and more direct than the Ryhope Wood novels, but they share some of the same concerns. Holdstock is interested in families under pressure, places that remember violence, and people who step across a boundary they cannot easily cross back over.
