Series background & context

Necromancer's Blight follows Tom Daniels, whose life shifts hard when he discovers he is a necromancer. The first book begins with Tom growing up in a small town and learning, while still young, that he belongs to a darker and more dangerous magical story than he ever imagined.

The later books make that identity even messier. Tom is not only a necromancer, he is also tied to mixed heritage and divided loyalties, which means power is never just power. It is also bloodline, suspicion, destiny, and the question of who gets to define him. Titles like Revealed, Betrayed, and Fulfilled fit that shape well. The conflict is both external and deeply personal.

This series sits in the space between coming-of-age fantasy and darker supernatural adventure. If you like younger leads dealing with morally uneasy magic and a world that does not trust what they are, this one has that pull.
