Series background & context
The Landry Family series is the big, polished, family-saga side of Adriana Locke’s romance world. These are interconnected standalones about a wealthy, high-profile family, but the books stay focused on the kind of emotional pressure that money does not fix.
The Landrys bring politics, sports, business, and old family expectations into the romance. Sway opens with Barrett Landry, a powerful man who meets Alison Baker, a single mother who has every reason to be wary of charming, wealthy men. Their relationship sets the tone for the series: chemistry is easy, but trust has to be earned.
After that, each sibling or connected character gets a different lane. Swing pairs baseball star Lincoln Landry with Danielle, a woman who has sworn off athletes. Switch moves into office romance with Mallory and Graham. Swear is a second-chance story with Ford Landry, a military hero, and Ellie, the woman he never fully left behind. Swink crosses class lines with Camilla Landry and Dominic Hughes, a fighter who is very much not from her world.
Then Sweet widens the circle with Nate Hughes, a grumpy single dad, and the younger employee he knows he should not want.
The series works because the family is present without swallowing the couple. You get sibling loyalty, teasing, status, and public pressure, but the central tension is usually private: fear of being hurt, fear of choosing wrong, or fear that love will cost more than either person can pay.
Start with Sway if you want the intended family arc. If you like sports romance, Swing is an easy doorway. If grumpy single dads are your thing, Sweet can also stand on its own.
