Forging Books in Order

The Forging series moves into the next generation of the Stag family and the Pittsburgh soccer scene. These books follow young athletes and students who are chasing professional opportunities while dealing with injuries, family expectations, school, public pressure, and the difficult question of who they are when sports are not enough.

Soccer is the shared setting, but the series is about more than competition. The characters are at crossroads. Some are trying to go pro, some are trying to finish school, and some are rebuilding after a future they counted on suddenly changes. Their romantic relationships become part of that work, not an escape from it.

Forging Passion serves as a short prequel to the first main story. Wes Stag and Cara Moreno meet while both are focused on their soccer futures. Their immediate connection leads to one unforgettable night, but a misunderstanding leaves them separated before either is ready to admit how much it mattered.

Forging Glory picks up their story when Wes and Cara are playing professional soccer in the same city. Wes learns that he badly misread a situation involving Cara and a powerful figure in the sport. As Cara's career comes under threat, the book becomes a second-chance romance about accountability, trust, and choosing to stand beside someone when doing so has a cost.

The later books keep the sports setting while changing the central conflict. Forging Legacy pairs a soccer player with Fern, the graduate student teaching his algebra recitation, creating a forbidden student and teaching-assistant relationship. Forging Chaos follows an athlete whose serious injury forces him to reconsider the future he thought was guaranteed, while a driven research partner challenges him to build a different life.

The Stag family remains a presence throughout. They bring humor, support, food, opinions, and a reminder that these younger characters have a network behind them, even when they are trying to prove they can stand on their own. Pittsburgh's men's and women's soccer worlds also give the series a strong local setting.
