Author bio

Caisey Quinn was born in Birmingham, Alabama, and her books carry that Southern feel with them. She writes romance full of longing, family knots, messy timing, and people who usually have to fight a little before they get their happy ending.

She started writing romance in 2012.

Her first novel, Girl with Guitar, was published on May 22, 2013, which was also her 30th birthday. That book launched the Kylie Ryans series and put her early stamp on the kind of stories she likes best: emotional love stories with music, ambition, and a lot of heart. In Quinn's world, love is rarely separate from the rest of life. Careers, grief, family pressure, and old wounds all show up at the same time.

Music runs through a big part of her catalog. Girl with Guitar, Girl on Tour, and Girl in Love follow the push and pull between a rising singer and a troubled country star. The Neon Dreams books, beginning with Leaving Amarillo, widen that lens into a full band story, where dreams of Nashville fame crash into loyalty, heartbreak, and the question of what success is really worth. Readers who like road stories, backstage tension, and romance with a country soundtrack usually find a lot to love there.

She also writes intimate new adult romance. Keep Me Still and Give Me You lean into college life, trauma, recovery, and the slow work of trusting another person. Those books are emotional, but they stay grounded in character, which is part of Quinn's appeal. Even when the setup is dramatic, the people inside it still feel like they are trying to survive ordinary pain.

That balance shows up across her other series too.

Last Second Chance brings a rehab ranch and a self-destructive rocker together. Lit Fuse and Live Wire move into romantic suspense with bomb techs, military history, and high-stakes danger. More recently, Tempting Wyatt heads toward cowboy romance and ranch life. The settings change, but Quinn's interests stay pretty steady. She likes damaged people, strong chemistry, second chances, and the moment when somebody finally stops pretending they are fine.

Her publishing path has been a mix of indie hustle and traditional support. After two years of self-publishing, she landed a three-book traditional deal for the Neon Dreams series. She has described herself as a hybrid author, and that fits the shape of her career. Some books came out independently, others through major publishers, and the overall catalog still feels connected by tone, heat, and emotional honesty.

She also seems to enjoy the extra world around the books, playlists, bonus material, and visual inspiration that help a romance feel lived in.

Quinn now lives in a small town in Alabama with her two children. When she is not writing, she has said she likes hiking in the mountains, trying new recipes, running long distances, and plotting stories from her porch. It sounds like the right life for a writer whose books so often mix heartache, hope, and a little Southern heat.
