Blades Hockey Books in Order

The Blades Hockey series follows the Boston Blades, an NHL team whose players are used to handling pressure on the ice but are much less prepared for the complications waiting off it. These are contemporary sports romances with a lively team dynamic, plenty of locker-room teasing, and relationships that grow out of work, friendship, old history, and inconvenient timing.

Each book centers on a different couple, so readers can generally enjoy an individual title as a complete romance. Reading in order adds to the experience, though. Friends, teammates, former partners, and familiar faces continue to appear, and the team gradually becomes a bigger shared community.

Hat Trick turns the attention to forward Marshall and guarded publicist Gwen James, whose long-running attraction gets a second chance only when both of them are willing to be honest about what they want.

The stakes become more personal in Body Check. Boston Blades captain Jackson Carter and photographer Holly Belliveaux Carter are divorced, but a reality series following the team brings them back into close contact. Their story looks at the quieter strain that can build inside a relationship when two people drift apart without ever stopping caring.

Slap Shot follows Weston Cain and Daisy Hall, best friends who have built a life around their trust in each other. When Daisy's secret makes her a target of league scrutiny, Weston decides that protecting her matters more than avoiding a distraction. The book leans into friends-to-lovers feelings and a marriage-of-convenience setup, while keeping the hockey season and team pressure in view.

Expect fast banter, found-family energy, and romances that are sexy without forgetting the emotional work. The Blades may be public figures, but the series is most interested in what happens when the game ends and they have to face the people who know them best.
