Bad Boys of Ever After Books in Order

Bad Boys of Ever After is a small connected romance series built around ex-Marines, loyal friends, and the kind of family circle where everybody knows everybody else's business. The books have protective heroes, strong attraction, and plenty of banter, but the stakes stay close to home. Instead of spies, alien politics, or magical danger, the tension usually comes from grief, timing, insecurity, family pressure, and the messy way love collides with a very tight-knit group.

Lucky opens with Griffin Doyle coming home after his father's death and finding his life turned upside down by a lottery win. On paper that sounds like pure wish fulfillment, but the story is more interested in what happens after the money lands. Griffin still has to deal with loss, expectations, and the woman next door who makes him realize cash is not the same thing as a future.

Aloha stays with the same wider circle and digs into one of Roma's favorite kinds of hero, the rough-looking man with a surprisingly careful heart. Kade Kapono is a former Marine with a quiet nature and a history that has made him wary of saying too much, especially when the woman he wants is his best friend's little sister. That gives the book a more personal, tender kind of tension than the series title might suggest.

What ties these stories together is the mix of masculine swagger and emotional softness. The heroes may be tattooed, stubborn, or intimidating, but they are not careless with the women they love. They fall hard. The women, meanwhile, are not there to simply be claimed. They have doubts, past hurts, and their own sense of what a good future should look like. The romance works because both sides have to meet in the middle.

The tone is warm, sexy, and easy to binge. These are good books for readers who like contemporary romance with familiar tropes, neighbors, best friend's little sister, men in uniform, family meddling, and found family energy, but do not necessarily want a huge amount of outside plot. The pleasure comes from watching a close community shift as one couple after another finds their footing.

Because the cast overlaps, the books feel like visits with the same crowd rather than isolated standalones. Read them in order if you want the family dynamics to land cleanly. Even in just a couple of books, Roma makes it clear that the happily-ever-after here is not just about two people. It is about where they belong, too.
