Series background & context

Atlanta Lightning is Riley Hart's football world, but the books are as interested in secrecy, identity, and emotional risk as they are in the sport itself. The series follows men tied to the Atlanta Lightning franchise, with careers that are public, demanding, and not especially forgiving when private lives get messy.

In The Endgame and The End Zone, that pressure matters. One hero is already out and used to living honestly. Another is still hiding. One relationship starts with a chance meeting and stretches across states. Another grows out of friendship, long phone calls, and a late-in-life shift in how a man understands himself. The football setting raises the stakes, but the heart of the series is still about two people deciding whether love is worth changing everything for.

The tone is emotional, sexy, and a little more grounded than a lot of glossy sports romance. There are wins and losses, of course, but the real drama comes from what these men are willing to risk off the field.
