The Jilted Exes' Club Books in Order

The Jilted Exes' Club is a contemporary friend-group series with a very good hook. A public romantic disaster leaves one man stuck with a ridiculous label, and from there the books build out a whole social world of people trying to recover from past messes without accidentally making new ones.

Good Pucking Luck, The Marriage Policy, and Boyfriend Without Benefits mix hockey, media attention, fake or convenient relationships, and an increasingly lovable circle of friends who keep getting dragged into each other's business. The tone is lighter than Hart's angstiest work, but not shallow. These books still care about betrayal, insecurity, and the fear of looking foolish again after getting burned.

What makes the series especially easy to like is the banter. The exes are funny, nosy, and deeply ride-or-die. Even when the setup is messy, the emotional landing is warm, which makes this a good option if you want something romantic and entertaining without too much gloom.
