Series background & context

Warlock Coven follows the Second Sursolid Warlock Coven, a group of powerful men who have lived long enough for ordinary excitement to lose its shine. They are resourceful, competitive, magical, and, above all, bored.

In Quest, seven warlocks create a new kind of boredom break. There will be seven challenges, magical handicaps, unfamiliar teammates, and prizes worth wanting. The contests are meant to push everyone outside their usual habits, which means they also open the door to danger, rivalry, and unexpected romance.

The warlocks connect to the Witches of Wimberley books, where several have already appeared. That earlier series provides useful context, but Quest works as an introduction to the coven’s personalities and the rules of the competition.

Nobody gets to coast on old power.

The setup gives the series a lively mix of fantasy adventure and relationship drama. Participants must work with people they do not know well, solve magical problems, and decide whether winning matters more than the people standing beside them. The challenges also bring old secrets and emotional baggage into the open.

The Bell continues the larger contest and the romantic threads that begin in the first story. Readers can expect magical artifacts, friendly and not-so-friendly competition, humor, and an ensemble cast whose plans rarely stay under control for long.

Start with Quest for the team introductions and the beginning of the coven’s game.
