Series background & context
The Wall Street Titan books show a lighter, more playful side of Anna Zaires, but they still carry the strong chemistry and alpha energy that run through her darker work. The core story begins with Marcus Carelli, a hedge fund billionaire who is used to getting what he wants, and Emma Walsh, a bookstore clerk with three cats, a Brooklyn studio, and absolutely no interest in becoming anyone's polished trophy wife.
That contrast is the whole engine. Marcus is controlled, powerful, image-conscious, and very sure of himself. Emma is awkward, funny, stubborn, and unimpressed by money. Their first meeting happens through a dating mix-up, and from there the series leans into banter, class differences, intense attraction, and the pleasure of watching a very certain man realize he has met the one person he cannot easily manage.
It is billionaire romance, but with a good sense of humor about itself.
The first two books, Wall Street Titan and Titan's Addiction, focus on Marcus and Emma. The emotional arc moves from collision to pursuit to fallout, with Marcus forced to learn that wanting someone is not the same as understanding her. Emma, meanwhile, has to decide what parts of her life she is willing to change, and what she refuses to surrender, no matter how rich or persistent the man in front of her may be.
Later, Fit for Love opens up the world a bit more by shifting attention to Kendall and Ashton, characters connected to Marcus and Emma's orbit. That book keeps the glossy contemporary setting but swaps in a more romcom-flavored mix of second chances, old resentment, attraction, and destination-wedding chaos.
Even though this series is lighter than Twist Me or Tormentor Mine, it still feels recognizably Zaires. The heroes are intense. The chemistry is strong. The emotional momentum is quick. What changes is the level of darkness. Instead of captivity, violence, or criminal underworld stakes, the tension comes from ego, vulnerability, trust, and the messy business of letting another person in.
If you want Anna Zaires without the bleakest edges, Wall Street Titan is an easy recommendation.
