Series background & context
Twisted Fate is a wolf-shifter romance trilogy about being trapped, being rescued, and then realizing safety comes with its own complications. It’s driven by a heroine who has been treated as weak for reasons she can’t control, and a bond that forces her to confront the life she’s been surviving.
The trilogy begins with Destined Mate. Callie is adopted into her pack, can’t shift into an animal form, and has spent years mistreated by the people who should have protected her. Every attempt to escape is shut down, until she’s attacked and left with almost no hope.
A group of unfamiliar wolves saves her, and Bodey, the strongest among them, becomes fiercely protective. The pull between them is immediate, but the story doesn’t pretend that means the danger is over.
Rescue is only the first chapter.
Eclipsed Heart and Chosen Destiny build on that foundation as Callie’s past and hidden truths start to matter. The series also leans into leadership pressure, including the emotional weight of stepping into a role she doesn’t feel ready for.
Expect fated mates, found family energy, and a steady escalation from personal survival to pack-level conflict. The romance stays central, but it’s always tied to bigger questions: who gets to control you, what you really are, and whether you can choose your future when fate keeps twisting it.
