Series background & context

Rejected Fate is a wolf-shifter romance trilogy that starts with betrayal and focuses on what it takes to rebuild, or burn everything down. It’s about fate going wrong, and the dangerous people you meet when you’re at your lowest.

In Betrayed Mate, the heroine’s future was supposed to be clear, she was on track to be second-in-command of her pack. Then her fated mate betrays her, leaving her broken and alone.

Ryker enters the story as the kind of connection that feels both necessary and risky. As their bond deepens, so do the secrets around her, and the series makes it clear that what she doesn’t know about herself might be the most dangerous part.

Healing can look a lot like war.

  • Cursed Magic* and Wicked Fate push the arc forward as supernatural threats and pack politics tighten. The trilogy leans into secret heritage, found family energy, and the idea that trust is a choice you make, not a feeling you wait for.

Expect fated mates with sharp edges, high emotions, and a heroine who has to decide whether she’ll let betrayal define her, or whether she’ll use it as the moment she finally takes control. The romance and the pack-level danger rise together, making the series feel urgent from start to finish.
