Trixie Towers Books in Order

Trixie Towers is Scarlett Dawn's fae adventure series, and it has a wonderfully unruly heart. The books follow Trixie, an elven princess with a loud voice, bad timing, and a talent for ending up in the center of magical disasters. If you like fantasy that mixes questing with sarcasm, this series is hard to ignore.

The core problem lands early. Trixie is soul-mated to King Athon, the shifter ruler she very much does not want to be tied to. That one bond creates a lot of the series' emotional fuel, because it throws enemies, attraction, politics, and pride into the same space and then refuses to let anybody leave.

And that is only the beginning.

The wider plot reaches across five kingdoms, old relics, fae law, and a growing threat from giants. Trixie does not get to stay in one court and complain from a safe distance. She is pushed into artifact hunts, uneasy alliances, travel between kingdoms, and one crisis after another as the realm's balance starts to fail. Along the way, the supporting cast, rulers, misfits, family members, and would-be allies, helps give the world a loose, lively energy.

What makes the series work is its tone. Trixie is funny without turning the danger into a joke. The books can be playful, but the stakes are real. There are secrets in the royal families, pressure on every kingdom, and a constant sense that one wrong move could make a bad situation much worse. That mix keeps the series feeling brisk rather than heavy.

The romance is important, but it is not the only thing going on. Trixie Towers is just as interested in loyalty, duty, inherited expectations, and the question of what kind of ruler Trixie might become if the realm gives her a chance to survive long enough.

Across Marvels and Misfits, Scales and Skeletons, Crypts and Crimes, and the later books, the series keeps widening its map while holding on to Trixie's voice. That is the anchor. No matter how strange the quest gets, the books stay readable because Trixie reacts like someone who knows this is all ridiculous and still has to save the realm anyway.

In other words, it is fae fantasy with teeth, heart, and a heroine who never learned how to stay politely out of trouble.
