Where should I start?
If you want magical royal drama: King Hall → King Cave → King Tomb

If you want dark vampire fantasy: Queen of Gods → King of Gods → Death of Gods
If you like witty fae adventure: Marvels and Misfits → Scales and Skeletons → Crypts and Crimes
Author bio
Scarlett Dawn writes the kind of stories that throw readers into the deep end fast. Her books move through fantasy, paranormal romance, science fiction, and contemporary romance, but they tend to share a few things: big feelings, dangerous attraction, sharp banter, and worlds where chaos is never far away.
She was born in the United States and now lives in the Midwest. She has said that books mattered to her early, in part because her grandmother took her to bookstores on weekends. That steady habit turned into a lasting love of reading, and later, writing.
She started writing when she was sixteen.
Then life got busy, and writing slipped to the side for about a decade. What pulled her back was a movie night. After seeing Twilight, she realized the story came from books, picked up the series, and found herself drawn back into reading and writing again. It is a simple origin story, but it fits her work, books have a way of kicking open doors.
Her first published novel was King Hall, released through Escape Publishing, an imprint of Harlequin Australia. That book introduced readers to Lily Ruckler and the wild, messy world of the Forever Evermore series. It also set the tone for a lot of what would follow: magical politics, intense relationships, fast shifts in power, and heroines who do not stay quiet just because the world would prefer they did.
From there, Dawn kept building outward. Trigger opened the Origin books, a post-war, shifter-run world shaped by corporations, old damage, and dangerous secrets. Queen of Gods, co-written with Katherine Rhodes, pushed into darker vampire fantasy, with power struggles and blood-soaked royal drama. Marvels and Misfits took her into fae territory with Trixie Towers, an elven princess dealing with soul mates, relic hunts, and a realm that never gives her a break.
Even when the settings change, her stories usually come back to the same pull. People want freedom. They want love. They want power over their own lives. And in Scarlett Dawn's books, getting any of that is rarely neat.
Readers who stick with her tend to like that mix. Her work can be funny, heated, strange, and emotionally loud, sometimes all in the same chapter. She likes supernatural hierarchies, found families, enemies who turn into something more complicated, and heroines who mouth off even when it would be smarter not to.
Away from the page, she has shared a few down-to-earth details that feel very on brand. She lives with her husband, three children, and two dogs. She likes her music loud. She likes her fries covered in melted cheese.
That sounds about right.
For a writer drawn to the offbeat, Scarlett Dawn has built a body of work that is hard to mistake for anyone else's. Whether she is writing mystical rulers, alien worlds, vampire crowns, or fae courts, she tends to chase the same thing every time, a story with enough heart, danger, and weirdness to keep the pages moving.
