Where should I start?
If you want the full Original Sinners experience: The Siren → The Angel → The Prince → The Mistress → The Saint → The King → The Virgin → The Queen.
If you prefer twisty, gothic standalones: The Bourbon Thief → The Night Mark → The Lucky Ones.

If you want erotic fantasy with art and magic: The Red → The Rose → The Pearl.
If you want a Sinners starting point with a mystery twist: The Priest (then circle back to The Siren if you fall for the world).
Author bio
Tiffany Reisz was born in Owensboro, Kentucky, and grew up in a Catholic family where church, stories, and a slightly wicked sense of humor all shared space. That mix of faith and mischief eventually became the fuel for her fiction.
She studied English at Centre College, a small liberal arts school in Danville, and it was there that she began to take writing seriously. After college she enrolled at Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky, expecting a life in ministry, only to discover that the stories she most wanted to tell were far too unruly for the pulpit.
While she was still a seminary student she started drafting what would become The Siren, the first book in her Original Sinners series. Leaving seminary to focus on fiction was a hard pivot, but it gave her room to explore the subjects that fascinated her most, like power, guilt, and how people make peace with their bodies.
The Siren introduced readers to Nora Sutherlin, an erotica writer who moonlights as a dominatrix, along with priest Marcus Stearns and French club owner Kingsley Edge. The series grew into a sprawling nine novel saga with many novellas and short stories, earning a RITA Award for The Saint and a Lambda Literary Award for The King along the way.
Reisz did not stop with Sinners. She moved into gothic and suspenseful territory with novels like The Bourbon Thief, about a cursed Kentucky bourbon dynasty, The Night Mark, a time slip love story set around a South Carolina lighthouse, and The Lucky Ones, a modern beach house gothic full of uneasy family secrets.
At the same time she launched the Godwicks books, beginning with The Red and continuing through The Rose and The Pearl. Those stories mix art history, ghosts, and unapologetically erotic fantasy, following a decadent English family that is literally haunted by the past.
Across all of her work you can see the same preoccupations: characters who wrestle with faith and desire, lovers who negotiate boundaries with care, and found families built inside kink clubs, boarding schools, bourbon estates, and haunted hotels. Her books are explicit, often very funny, and always interested in what sex reveals about people rather than what it hides.
Reisz now lives in Louisville, Kentucky, with her husband, novelist Andrew Shaffer, and their two cats. When she is not writing, she teaches and mentors other writers, runs her small press imprint, and keeps expanding the overlapping universes her readers like to revisit, one sharp, surprising story at a time.
