The Syrena Legacy Books in Order

The Syrena Legacy is a young adult fantasy romance that brings merfolk mythology into a sunny, modern world of beaches, schools, family secrets, and underwater politics. At its center is Emma, a human girl whose ordinary life starts to unravel after she meets Galen, a Syrena prince searching for someone with a very unusual gift.

Galen has heard rumors of a girl on land who can communicate with fish. During a beach trip, he finds Emma, and their first meeting is awkward, funny, and immediately charged. A dangerous encounter in the water soon proves that Emma has a real connection to the sea, even if she has no idea why.

That is only the beginning. Emma learns that her own identity is tied to the Syrena world, a hidden society with royal houses, strict laws, old rivalries, and strong opinions about humans and Half-Breeds. Galen becomes both her guide and her biggest complication. He knows the sea, but he has a lot to learn about normal human conversation.

The main trilogy begins with Of Poseidon, continues in Of Triton, and concludes with Of Neptune.

As the series goes on, Emma has to figure out where she belongs. The conflict is not simply about whether she can live on land or under the sea. She is pulled into disputes between the royal houses of Poseidon and Triton, while the people around her worry about tradition, loyalty, and the risks of a changing world. Her relationship with Galen remains important, but so do her friendships, family connections, and her growing confidence in her own choices.

The tone balances romance and danger with plenty of humor. Emma is blunt, Galen is intense, and characters such as Rayna and Toraf bring extra energy to the group. The books work well for readers who enjoy secret heritage stories, forbidden or complicated relationships, underwater kingdoms, and heroines who don't quietly accept the role others have chosen for them.

There are also short companion stories. Legacy Lost looks back at Grom and Nalia before the main trilogy, while The Stranger explores how Galen came to trust the human Rachel. Girls Day Out gives Emma and Rayna a smaller but still eventful adventure together. They add context and character moments, but the best place to begin is still Of Poseidon.
