The Ravens is a two-book contemporary fantasy by Kass Morgan and Danielle Paige. It brings witchcraft into the world of college rush week, setting its story at Westerly College in Savannah, Georgia, where the most admired sorority on campus has a very old secret.

Joining the Ravens offers her a chance to belong, but it also pulls her into conflicts she does not understand yet.

Scarlett comes from the opposite direction. A legacy Raven, she has always known about magic and wants to become the sorority's president. She is smart, prepared, and determined to meet the standards set by her family, but she is also carrying a mistake from the past. At first, Scarlett sees Vivi as an inconvenient newcomer. As danger grows, the two have to decide whether they can work together.

The series mixes the everyday pressure of campus life with a darker supernatural mystery. Parties, classes, friendships, dating, and sorority politics matter, but so do spells, coven history, and the consequences of using magic carelessly. The Ravens' powers connect to tarot and elemental traditions, and the sisters are strongest when they act as a group.

In The Ravens, old secrets and threatening messages put the coven at risk. The Monarchs raises the stakes after the events of the first book, asking Scarlett and Vivi to take on new responsibilities while facing a rival force with destructive plans.

The tone is moody but lively, with plenty of banter and relationship drama beside the magical danger. Start with The Ravens. The duology works best in order, because the second book depends on the trust, betrayals, and unfinished problems established in the first.
