The Raging Ones Books in Order

The second book, The Last Hope, raises the scale. The trio is imprisoned on an enemy starcraft, major truths about their origins start surfacing, and escape becomes tied to a mission that could decide the fate of humanity. The series stays focused on character, but the backdrop gets larger, with space travel, shifting alliances, and a hunt that pulls them toward the deepest secrets in the universe they inhabit.

What you should expect here is tension first, explanation second. The world-building unfolds as the characters move through danger, not as a giant lecture up front. That gives the books a quick, urgent feel. You are learning while they are scrambling.

So if you want YA science fiction with romance elements, a strong central trio, and a premise built around fate, survival, and rebellion, this duology offers something very different from the Ritchies' contemporary series, while still holding onto their love of intense relationships.
