Their paths cross amid local resistance, murder, and decisions that shake the ruling family.

In Royal Blood, a frightening eclipse hangs over the royal family of Quachil Thecou as a delegation from the east arrives. The Lady Female Sun and her brother, Tattooed Serpent, both see ways to use the visitors for their own purposes.
