Their forced journey together, complicated by kidnapping, political schemes, and old grief, pushes both of them to rethink what strength and protection really mean.

Splendor of the Land follows Gavriel, a talented weaponsmith serving in the elite company of Prince Yonatan. Reckless and restless, he is given one last chance to prove himself by helping a distant Kenite tribe relocate before an Amalekite attack. There he meets Zahava, a gifted goldsmith whose physical limitations and family dynamics have kept her brilliance hidden. As they travel back toward Israel with enemies on their heels, Gavriel must face the shame and secrets he has tried to outrun.

Prequel novellas like The Wedding Gift, The Blind Scribe, and The Hidden Warrior show the cousins as boys in Kiryat-Yearim, sneaking into trouble around the Ark of the Covenant and learning, sometimes the hard way, what courage and friendship look like.
