The lead is Kit Morris, a psychic conman whose survival skills were built on bluffing, reading people, and getting out of trouble a beat before it closed in on him.

As the series goes on, the jokes sit next to real questions about loyalty, power, and whether a born hustler can trust institutions without losing himself.

The linked-world element also becomes more important here. Warped connects with the rest of The Guild Codex in satisfying ways, especially once the larger threat starts touching everyone. But it still keeps its own identity as the trickster-shaped branch of the universe.
