The Grove Books in Order

The Grove is best read as a continuation of the world Breck builds in Grove High School. The series begins with The Mute and the Menace, and the book itself makes it clear that starting with Reapers and Roses first is the smartest move. These two books live in the fallout of earlier losses, older friendships, and wounds that were already open before page one.

This time the focus shifts to Cara and Jackson. Cara is dealing with an unexpected pregnancy and a life that already feels unstable, while Jackson, the quiet and guarded figure known as the Mute, is carrying grief, guilt, and a brutal past of his own. Their connection is not easy, and it is not especially gentle.
